The NCISAA 3A State Track & Field Meet schedule is as follows: Trials on Friday, May 18 and Finals on Saturday, May 19 at Charlotte Country Day School.
Admission to State Playoff events is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for NCISAA students. Children under the age of eight are admitted free of charge.
You’re invited to attend this year’s Graduation Activities!
The Baccalaureate Service for the Class of 2012 will be on Wednesday, May 23, at 9:00 a.m. in the Worship Center of Christ Covenant Church. The entire CDS student body will be in attendance again this year, and we hope that family and friends will be able to attend as well.
The seventh commencement of Covenant Day School will take place on Friday, June 1, at 7:00 p.m. in the Worship Center of Christ Covenant Church. We hope to see you there! Check out last year’s graduation video!

CDS Summer Reading Books will be available at our Summer Reading Book Fair with Barnes & Noble this week! The book fair will be on campus in the Worship Center Main Lobby from 7:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. You may also shop at the Arboretum Barnes & Noble store anytime Monday, May 14 – Saturday, May 19 or online with the code on the flyer. When shopping at the store, you will need the flyer in order for the CDS Media Center to benefit from your purchases. Please note: Summer Reading selections will ONLY be on campus and not at the store. Click here for more event information and to print the voucher.

Musical Productions for 2012 -2013


Middle School Production - Mulan Jr (October 19 – 20, 2012)
Auditions for the middle school production will be held on Monday and Tuesday, June 4 – 5, from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. in the Harbor Auditorium for rising 6th through 8th grade students. If you are unable to attend these audition dates, please make an appointment with Mrs. Thomas to audition on any of the following dates: May 24 (3:00 – 4:30), May 29 (3:00 – 4:30), or May 30 (1:00 – 2:30).
Casting will be completed and posted on the drama website by June 8. Students who are cast will be contacted and will be able to pick up scripts on Monday, June 11.
Boys are encouraged to audition, especially if they are into martial arts.
Audition requirements: Be WELL-PREPARED to perform a selection from Mulan Jr without accompaniment. You will also do readings from the script. Some movement is required, so dress comfortably. If you are interested in auditioning for a particular part please go the middle school page on the drama website for information on the character, which lines to learn, and what songs to sing. There is also a link to download music to learn. There are non-singing roles, but everyone is required to sing for the audition. Do your best and you may surprise yourself!

High School Production - Beauty and the Beast (February 7 – 9, 2013)

Covenant Day School will host three baseball camps this summer at Warner Park Baseball Complex. The cost is $150 per week and the camp is open to kids ages 5 to 14.

Grounds Maintenance position
Christ Covenant Church has an immediate opening for a qualified individual with at least one year experience in Grounds Maintenance to join the Operations Department in a full time position. The primary responsibilities for the successful candidate will be maintaining the grounds on Church property, practice athletic and ornamental turf maintenance, and practice appropriate landscape maintenance. Knowledge of the principles of landscape maintenance, ability to work alone or with a team, and a willingness to participate in routine maintenance or construction projects as requested by the Supervisor. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, hardworking, dependable and show initiative. Qualifications include a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and membership in an evangelical church.
